Talented Irlam singer songwriter Jess Kemp (Pictured) has reached the finals of the radio station Key 103 and Salford City College competition ‘Future stars’ that is looking to find the next ‘big thing.’
13,000 people applied and Jess was absolutely delights to get into the final four recently. Jess said, “With a fantastic prize that will be to open up Key 103′s Summer Live at The Phones 4 U Arena, Manchester on Thursday 17th July. This is an amazing opportunity and I’d love to get the chance, it means everything to me. The next stage now will be text votes where all proceeds will go to Key 103′s Cash for Kids charity with the act who gets the most votes will win and perform at the arena.”
So jess needs your support! The 19 year old is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at Irlam and Cadishead College. Over the past few years she has gigged all around the North West playing in some of Manchester’s top music venues including The Ruby Lounge, The Roadhouse, Dry Live, The Eagle, Night & Day Café and many more. She has featured on Hive Radio, Fab Radio International, Manchester Radio Online, North Manchester FM and Wythenshawe FM. As well as locally at Irlam and Cadishead Summer Show, the Boatfest and Steelfest.
Jess added, “The Key 103 gig would be massive, I’m currently working on an EP for later this year release and also looking to branch out wider to Liverpool, Chester and even London this year.”
