Local News Publication is launching it’s first edition of the Irlam and Cadishead Times at the beginning of July
The Irlam and Cadishead Times, your local Community Monthly Magazine for Irlam and Cadishead and the surrounding area.
The team behind the magazine & this website have years of experience gathering News, building relationships with local businesses and delivering content onto the doorsteps of the local community.
The new magazine is aimed at the whole community, both living and working in the area and any community groups and not for profit organisations that operate across M44.
It will offer local news, lifestyle articles, What’s On, Special Offers, business profiles & networking opportunities as well as supporting local good causes.
We hope you like the look, quality and content of the Times, we have put a lot of work and effort in to the first edition of what we are sure will become a part of ‘local life.’
The Times is a truly local NOT FOR PROFIT Community Magazine, profits at the end of the financial year will go back in to the Community by way of grants, sponsorships or donations.
Behind the magazine are three like minded individuals Bill McLaughlin who with more than 30 years of experience in the Photography and Journalism field is responsible for the editorial content words and pictures for News and Sport. Geoff Blackburn looks after our Advertiser’s without whom we seriously could not publish the Times. Our third person is Chris Petterson a distribution expert who will oversee the delivery of the Times to every home in Irlam and Cadishead as well as looking after the website, Facebook and Twitter for the Magazine.
We want to provide a quality, informative and interesting monthly magazine for our Community. In future editions we are looking to start a Women’s interest page to go along with Business and Youth Pages already in place and free diary listings of local events each and every month. We are always open to suggestions as to what you would like to see in what is after all your magazine.
The Irlam and Cadishead Times is totally independent we do not have any allegiance to the Council, Political Parties or any other trusts or organisations local or otherwise. But we are more than happy to feature articles for news and sport from the above as long as it is in our opinion news worthy!
Lastly I would like to thank all our contributors and especially the Advertiser’s, we welcome their valued and continued support without which we would not be able to publish each month, thank you and here’s to a long and interesting association with the Irlam and Cadishead District.
